Froglogic™ is a motivational program developed by David B. Rutherford. David is a Former US Navy SEAL who served eight years in the Naval Special Warfare Community. During that time David had the chance to travel world in support of Freedom and Democracy.
David spent his final two years as a SEAL Instructor where he first began to recognize the critical importance of motivating his students while teaching them as well. He strived to make his students understand the total nature of their commitment to America and the SEAL Teams.
After the SEAL Teams, David continued to develop his teaching skills by becoming an international training specialist for large private security company. Again David traveled the world helping spread the principles of democracy by teaching foreign commandos to defend their Freedom.
The most profound effect which David’s travels had on him was not the horrible nature of war, but instead how the world’s children are being left to fend for themselves as a result of corruption, poverty and hatred. Improvised uneducated children are growing up with so few adults making an effort to teach them what they need to know in order to survive.
David has even seen this reality to a certain degree in the United States as well. As a result of these facts David has decided to go to War for the kids of America. Froglogic™ is a Navy SEAL’s guide for helping kids get Squared Away. David hopes to expose kids ages 10 to 15 to the SEAL philosophy which helped him become squared away in his life. David wants to teach kids how to develop self confidence through hard work, physical fitness and mental toughness. The “Never Quit” attitude of the SEAL Teams will help kids prepare themselves for the future. HOO YAH!
Testimonials:
David Rutherford’s Froglogic program is simply gold! I have had an opportunity to pilot all aspects of his book with 12 grades 4-6 students at my school and the short and long term results were simply astonishing. This program is all about helping kids become the best people that they can be – all while fostering essential character education virtues and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
'Froglogic – Field Manuals for Kids, vol 1, Get Squared Away’
is setup in easy to read missions that have been compiled in a purposely structured format. The missions encompass eight entities of character development while also containing challenging daily physical training schedules that progressively increase in difficulty with each chapter. The end result is prolonged, effective exposure to a dynamic life philosophy that will change a child in a positive manner. All of the children in my school next year are wanting to be exposed to Froglogic and my staff are even more fired up than our pupils. Congratulations David on hitting a grandslam.

Mr. Rutherford spoke at our eighth grade investiture. He was truly an outstanding choice to deliver a message on this important day for the leaders of our school. Mr. Rutherford knows kids. He was fast paced, energized, funny, serious, and engaging. He interacted well with both boys and girls. The faculty was very pleased with his message, delivery style, and felt he was most appropriate. In fact, the faculty unanimously agreed he should be the featured speaker again next year.
We had looked for a long time for an appropriate motivational speaker and we found him in Mr. Rutherford. He utilized personal experiences and translated them into stories and scenarios that students would understand. He gave many quotable comments that I am still using with our eighth graders two months after his speech.
In summary, I endorse Mr. Rutherford as a speaker to young adult audiences. He did a great job for us. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I would be pleased to speak with you on his behalf.
Sincerely yours,

Having known David since he was in the 8th grade here at Saint Andrew’s School I can attest to the fact that he has become not only a fine upstanding gentleman, but a true American hero. David has chosen the hard road since leaving college. Joining the Navy, he decided to become a Navy Seal. This is no mean feat and not many men can achieve, endure or finish. David went on to not only become a Navy Seal he became a Seal instructor.
My admiration for this fine young man is boundless. I find that each time I am in his presence I am better off for it. David’s ability to motivate young people, indeed anyone is most impressive. Would that more of our Saint Andre’s Alumni chose to pick up the gauntlet and help the young people who come after them to become decent, honorable, strong willed, upstanding citizens.

On July 13, 2007 David Rutherford visited the Boys & Girls
Club of Boca Raton. Mr. Rutherford captured the attention
of kids elementary school age and held on through out his
entire presentation. He simply told his story, one with such
magnitude that you could hear a pin drop in the room.
He talked about discipline and success going hand in hand,
and how this applies to the choices that we make in life.
Mr. Rutherford is a dynamic motivational speaker, the
intensity of his message is proof of his commitment to the
leaders of the future. His presentation was appropriately
presented for the age group being served, which was 6 years
old to adult (staff). Mr. Rutherford disclosed a very doable
plan for having a successful life. His many experiences tell
a great story, especially his career as a Navy Seal. I am sure
that he leaves ”something to think about “ with everyone that
hears him speak. All of us at the BGC of Boca Raton would
welcome a repeat of this experience and extend an open invitation
to have him experience our world of Boys & Girls Club of
Boca Raton.

Dear David,
Thank you for taking the time to talk with us. Your stories were very interesting and truly inspirtational. You have experienced what some could only dream of, or play on a video game for that matter, and that is something to feel proud about. Your determination to help others and courage was really respected the other day and that was really the first time I have seen that group of people listen intently. You can definitely make a difference in many young peoples lives with the Team Froglogic, considering you made a difference in mine, even if it was merely a classroom lecture.
Thank you so much,
Ashley

I think David was cool becuase he was a Navy SEAL. I believe its cool to protect America and make sure the bad guys don't hurt the good guys. I am impressed that he was a Navy SEAL for 8 years without getting hurt or dying. I really like David becuase he was excited to be with us. He kept asking us to yell louder and it was really fun. I learned that he took care of the Navy SEALs and that Teamwork is really important. I always need to work on being a good member of my team, Saint Andrews and my family, becuase teamwork helps you succeed in life.

I had the privilege and pleasure of watching David speak to a group of 275 lower school students (grades k - 5) yesterday. I have known David for 25 years. It came as no suprise to me that he was absolutely terrific with the children, teachers, and parents in attendance. I watched my son's reactions ( ranging from smiles, to laughs, to wide eyed in awe) to what David was saying and it was truly amazing. The children loved him, as did the adults. He spoke about the importance of teamwork in our everyday lives. David was so enthusiastic and passionate about his message. He made his point loud and clear while engaging the students through the entire presentation. His message was a true life lesson. Our children are fourtunate to have come in contact with a true American Hero. They walked away believing they are an essential part of a special team (their school and their family) in life and that working together to make a difference and achieve their missions will be the key to their future success. It is my hope that David can share his Froglogic philosophy with as many young children as possible in order to spread these important life lessons and positively impact the youth of America.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how great yesterday was. The feeling in the staffroom library this morning was great. People were smiling and talking about how David got through to them. The most important message I heard from people was about trying to be more positive. It made me so happy to you full of joy...it's been a while you know. I'm on a high today too. We started off the morning anouncement with a : Are you all fired up? and a Let's get Squared Away!
